Description

The Microsorum Diversifolium is also called Kangaroo fern. This nickname owes the plant to its origins in Australia and New Zealand. The plant grows offshoots on which new leaves eventually grow. Do you want to keep the plant nice and compact and full? Then cut 4 cm from the older shoots.

The handy thing about the Varen on a lava rock is that the plant can hardly suffer from root rot. In addition, the plant gets enough nutrients from the lava. As soon as the container underneath the lava rock is almost empty again, you can fill the container up to about 2/3rd. Always leave a small layer of water in it.

Although the care of the Microsorum Diversifolium is easy, the lava rock can be a bit demanding. Yes, you hear that well! Because of the lime in tap water, the lava rock can turn white. It is therefore best to add rainwater to the plant.
