This is the Euphorbia a houseplant with the looks of a Cactus. Officially, the Euphorbia is not a Cactus, because the plant has spurge milk. And Cacti do not have spurge milk.

The Euphorbia is one of the most easy houseplants there is. In summer it can do without water for up to a month, and in winter the Euphorbia needs a sip of water once every two months. It doesn’t care where you plant it. Whether in full sun or in semi-shade. As soon as the Euphorbia gets too little sunlight you will notice this by the long thin shoots it grows.
